PhD in Economics, currently Assistant Professor at ISCSP, the School of Social and Political Sciences of the Technical University of Lisbon in Portugal.

Has done research on tax reform, pension reform, budgetary impact of population ageing, and dynamic general equilibrium modelling of the Portuguese economy.

Dedicated almost 12 years to Government as an economist and later an economic adviser at the Portuguese Ministry of Finance. Was a summer intern at the IMF.

Research interests: Public finance; Macroeconomics; International economics; Demography; Economic and financial literacy.
